Perhaps he's forgiven Studly Man for the, um, scalping.
He's either forgiven his daddy or needs to snuggle up with him for some extra warmth! Either way, they're pretty cute.

Your pics of Shiloh and Samson are precious. My neighbors also have a "very big" and two "very littles." A 140 lb. mastif and two little 4 and 6 pound yorkies... and they get along fine!
The pics of yours side by side asking for lamb chops reminded me of them. Too cute!
